Trust in Him at all times, O people;
Pour out your heart before Him,
God is a refuge for us.
Holy Spirit, living breath of God
Breathe new life into my willing soul
Bring the presence of the living Lord
To renew my heart and make me whole.
Cause Your word to come alive in me
Give me faith for what I cannot see
Give me passion for Your purity
Holy Spirit, breathe new life in me.
Last Sunday we were considering the person and work of ‘The Helper’ to the disciples of our Lord then and to us now. Have you been asking for the help of The Holy Spirit in your walk and witness this week?
What a blessing on Sunday evening to hear of the church as one family and as one body. How privileged we are to be part of the family of God and the body of Christ. What cause for rejoicing and what solemn responsibilities are ours.
This coming Sunday morning, God willing, we will again look at John 16. In the evening service we will be continuing with the theme of ‘The Church’. Please pray for the proclamation and reception of His precious word.
How was your Growth Group? Are you currently involved in one? Are you seeking to love one another and support one another? As a group please cry for the help, filling and enabling of the Holy Spirit.
Do you look at the notice sheet? Please do so. It has a number of different opportunities for serving the Lord among us here at Bridge. Please put your name down for Cefn Lea if you intend to go this is a great opportunity to get to know others.
How important is it for us to be good neighbours? Please don’t park your car in Isleham Close.
Continue to pray for those who are unwell.
Please take care on the icy roads and particular care on the icy car park at Bridge Chapel!
Keep trusting, keep abiding and keep loving one another and cry for the Spirit’s comfort and work amongst us.
With much love!
