THE HEART OF THE MATTER
- Isaiah 40-66 = 27 Chapter
- Mid point is Chapter 53
- Chapter 52:13-53:12 = 15 verses (5×3)
- Mid point of 5 is 3 = Ch. 53:4-6
- Middle verse = v5
- “But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed.”

- His Remedy is Mind-blowing – 53:4-6
- His Humility is Masterful – 53:7-9
- His Victory is Magnificent – 53:10-12
- How can God love the guilty?
- At the cross God:
- Accepts the Unacceptable
- Honours the Shameful
- Treats Rebels as Royalty
- Our Judge becomes our Justifier
- Forgives the Failure
